Warranty Guidelines for Surf Shack Ltd

We provide the opportunity to extend the standard one-year warranty to a five-year warranty for selected boards (10' Surf Shack Navigator Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board, 11' Surf Shack Navigator Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board, 10'6" Surf Shack Sunset Paddleboard) purchased after 01/09/2023.

 

To activate the extended warranty, we require customers to register their board on our website within three months of purchase.

General Terms and Conditions:

​

Surf Shack Ltd assures that all Surf Shack Ltd boards and paddles sold by Surf Shack Ltd are free from material or workmanship defects for a duration of one year from the purchase date, unless otherwise specified. If a Surf Shack Ltd product is found to be defective, Surf Shack Ltd's sole responsibility will be to repair or replace the faulty product. Surf Shack Ltd will not cover any costs, losses, or damages resulting from the product's non-use. This warranty is subject to certain limitations, as described below and as required by applicable law:

The warranty applies exclusively to Surf Shack Ltd products purchased by the original buyer, and it cannot be transferred.

Any products sent to Surf Shack Ltd for warranty inspection must first receive return authorization, which can be obtained by emailing sales@surfshackonline.com. When shipping products directly, we recommend using a tracked and insured service. Surf Shack Ltd assumes no responsibility for products during shipment from the customer to our Warranty Department, and shipping charges are non-refundable.

The following are excluded from warranty coverage:

• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or neglect.

• Damage resulting from improper packing.

• Normal wear and tear including D-ring deterioration from weight guidance misuse.

• Damage caused by factors other than material or workmanship defects.

• Damage from excessive UV/heat exposure (evidenced by distinct yellow glue staining or fading of components such as fins and logos and/or bubbles caused by over-heating as a result of exposure to direct sunlight)

• Damage caused by the use of solvents or adhesives.

• Damage to Surf Shack Ltd products caused by non-Surf Shack Ltd products.

• Claims for consequential or incidental damages.

• Damage from improper transportation methods including excessive tightening on vehicle roof racks.

Any modifications, changes, or alterations not specifically authorized in writing by Surf Shack Ltd will void all warranty coverage.

Repaired or replaced boards will be covered for the remaining duration of the extended warranty period, starting from the original purchase date. All boards will carry a minimum 12-month warranty. The exact warranty period is at Surf Shack Ltd's discretion and may vary on a case-by-case basis.

All warranty claims must include the original purchase receipt from Surf Shack Ltd, through surfshack.co.uk, with the invoice or charge receipt clearly identifying the Surf Shack Ltd.

Extended warranties are exclusively applicable to private, end-consumer use and are not available for commercial purchases, such as SUP schools.

This warranty complements your legal rights under applicable laws.

Warranties and product replacements are only valid and redeemable in the original country of purchase.

Only brand-new, unused boards qualify for this program, not Ex Demo boards. The Surf Shack Ltd 5-year warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship. The warranty applies to the original owner with proof of purchase from an authorized Surf Shack Ltd retailer and covers defects in materials or craftsmanship. It includes free repair or replacement at our discretion for products failing during the extended warranty period due to such defects. However, normal wear and tear, misuse, cosmetic damage, improper care, and impacts/accidents are not covered by this warranty. Losses or costs incurred due to loss of use are also not covered. The product's lifetime depends on proper care and usage.
