The search continues for the Australia’s next top grommet, with international surf wear company Rip Curl in association with Surfing Australia announcing its 2010 Rip Curl Grom Search series event schedule today.

The grom search series, which has been circulating the country since 1999, gives surfers aged 16 and under the opportunity to showcase their talent in a fun, competitive environment.

Each of Australia’s surfing states score a spot on the series calendar, with event dates predominately coinciding with school holidays to ensure grommets get a chance to surf an event in their own backyard.
