Jaime Sterling has won the Billabong Pico Alto Invitacional 2010, held in Punta Hermosa, Peru.

Waves were spectacular and the foggy weather added a dramatic scenario to the swell condition. The biggest sets reached 25 feet and many big wave surfers even had problems dropping each mass of water because of constant peak changes.

The Peruvian surfers proved surfing has a lot of potential in the country. The final heat was a hard fought battle between Marcos Monteiro, Carlos Burle, Anthony Tashnick, Grant Baker, Greg Long and Jaime Sterling.
